Guy Harkless currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Champs Sports & Eastbay at Foot Locker, Inc. Harkless has been with the company since August 2015, when he joined as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, leading global strategic initiatives and spearheading the repositioning of the corporate vision around purpose-driven intent. Harkless has also served as the Vice President and General Manager of Foot Locker Canada (October 2017 – July 2020), leading growth initiatives, driving consumer experience and establishing competitive advantage for the division. In 2020, Harkless was appointed to spearhead Foot Locker, Inc.’s five-year, $200 million commitment to the Black community – both internally at Foot Locker, Inc. and externally in the communities the company serves. Harkless and his team aim to provide industry leadership in Education and Economic Development for communities of color. Previously, Harkless was a founding partner of AND 1 Basketball, leading many of the brand’s initiatives in North America as well as business development of new markets in Europe and Asia-Pacific. He has held positions at Nike, Inc. (Beaverton, OR) as part of the North American category sales leadership team, PUMA (Boston, MA) in global strategy and business development, and as a General Manager in Europe for the Benelux region. Guy is a graduate of Howard University.
